In these photos, you can observe our team cutting back overgrowth to get a mile back into a private dam to rehabilitate the 24” discharge line. Platforms will have to be built to hold steamers, pumpers, water tanks, and all other equipment needed for this massive project.

CIPP Training in New Mexico

Spring has been busy for the A-1 Total Service Plumbing and Lining Teams. A few weeks ago, I spent a few days helping Anytime Plumbing in Santa Fe, New Mexico to get their lining equipment up and running. When performing CIPP work, training and organization are vital to the success of the team, the overall operation and of course the final result. I brought one of my lead CIPP lining techs with me to get the task done. This Santa Fe install was a 55FT shot from a 13FT deep hole. The deeper the pipes, the more difficult the access can be. A1TSP and Anytime Plumbing ended the week with successful sewer inspections and CIPP projects all across Santa Fe!

My team is putting in the work this week!

Griffin and Tyler finally finished cutting out a collapsed CIPP liner today.
Joey and Stephen are in Santa Maria performing a spray in epoxy project.
Michael, Tony, Andrew, and Ken performed a duct lining water infiltration project with me on Monday and Tuesday.
Tuesday night I flew to Berkley to do a project walk-thru Wednesday with EJ Plumbing.
My son Michael supervised and performed a 36-inch Duct Armor project once our structural epoxy cured.
Michael, Ken, Tony, Andrew, and I prepped set up and installed a 4×6 Perma-Liner 5mm transitional liner! Came out great. This project allowed Andrew and Tony to get hands on for the first time with CIPP!

This is just another busy week in the life of A-1 Total Service Plumbing!

Perma-Liner in Orange County

Project #2: one of my favorite companies to do work for is Crandall’s Plumbing, located in Orange County, California. Today’s install is a 90FT Perma-Liner CIPP liner. We had access at both ends and used 1FT of 5-inch calibration tube as an intro guide and on the down stream end we used 8FT of calibration tube as an exit guide. We then installed the liner from end to end as you would shooting a main line bag. We will let the liner set over night and return tomorrow to perform 4 robotic lateral reinstatements.
